Castle House Studio has been built in the garden of Castle House. It is totally unique and has a firm and loyal following.
The views looking through the full length opening windows are always mesmerizing. Across the busy harbour and upstream to Bodinnick there is always something new to see. The accommodation consists of three bedrooms, one with a king size bed and a very smart en suite bathroom. The second double bedroom is in a large alcove screened by a heavy curtain and next to this is a family shower room with loo and basin. The third room is accessed by an open tread teak staircase, the ceiling is low and sloped and best for children in the 4 to 13 age group. An oval porthole looks out to the harbour, this room is loved by all children.
The living room is large and open plan. It has a comfortable seating area, television with freeview. The dining area is next to a comprehensive kitchen complete with an Everhot electric range cooker, microwave,fridge / freezer ,dishwasher and filtered water. Electric Velux window.
In the shower room is a Washer / dryer. The property has electric under floor heating, wood burner and is cosy and warm all year. Electricity is included in the rent, the beds are made and towels are included.
Outside there is a generous patio with garden furniture, ideal for sunbathing and eating al fresco. We do not provide a Barbeque.
Cars can be unloaded within about 40 metres of the property. You have a choice to park you car in St Saviour's Hill public car park about 400 metres away at the top of the hill or for a similar fee you can rent our garage in Hockens Lane which is so much nearer.
The studio is built with teak doors and windows from the liner "The Kenya Castle". Full of atmosphere.

The property will be available from 4pm on day of arrival. To be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure

A small well behaved pet may be allowed to stay by prior arrangement, we charge an extra £25.00 for pets.
Please note Polruan is built on the side of a hill and may not be suitable for wheel chair users.
There are a small number of steps to negotiate to the front door.
