Castle House Cottage

Castle House has superb views from the lounge/dining room over the harbour and upstream to Bodinnick.  The property benefits from oak floors and doors throughout plus underfloor heating and has a cosy log burner for the colder evenings.  There is a large comfortable corner sofa  and easy chair from which you can take in the views over the harbour ,also digital smart tv/dvd and free wifi.  The dining table is positioned by the window so the views can be enjoyed whilst dining.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave and dishwasher, nespresso mini coffee machine  larder. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer situated in the building in the sheltered courtyard which is a real sun trap enjoying the afternoon sun. A table, chairs, parasol and barbeque are also provided for your enjoyment.

There is  a double bedroom with vanity unit and digital tv/dvd, and a further small bedroom which from 2013 has been furnished with bunk beds, this room also has digital tv/dvd.

The bathroom has a large walk in shower, heated towel rail, washbasin, toilet and is fully tiled. Totally refurbished April 2018

Bed linen and 100% Egyptian cotton towels provided. Electricity included.

Property serviced, Friday morning changeover.

The property will be available from 3pm on day of arrival. To be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure

Only kiln dried logs to be used with the Riva log burner.  A stock are kept on site and are charged at £7.50  per bag. Please leave money in honesty box.

Unloading is possible within 20 yards with parking available either in the main car park at the top of the village or in the private parking space available 100 yards from the property, please enquire.

This is a non smoking property, small dogs permitted only, please contact for additional charges .

Pease note Polruan is built on the side of a hill and may not be suitable for wheel chair users.  The are a number of steps to negotiate to the front door.
