Looe: A small seaside town with many shops and restaurants.
Polperro: A small picuresque harbour from which fishing and trip boats come and go with the tide.
Mevagissey: 15th Century fishing village on the coast about 14 miles from Fowey.
Charlestown: Situated 6 miles from Fowey. An attractive Georgian harbour with lock gates. The village is the home of several square rigged sailing ships, which can often be seen in the harbour. Charlestown is also home to the Shipwreck Centre.

Lantic Bay: A lovely cove a few miles from Polruan, either drive or walk along the scenic cliff top.
Hall Walk: A 3 mile walk from Polruan to Bodinnick along the estuary with beautiful scenery.
